This project focused on contextual research and the integration of alternative therapies for Dialysis patients at the Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit multi-speciality academic center which integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. Research & programming methods included; surveys, interviews, site analysis, Environmental Psychology studies, & the utilization of modular building units. The resulting design is one that's based on the concept of movement to engage every user and transform the healing experience. Flexibility, wellness, community, and complimentary therapies were key design drivers for this project.
