A fast-track office project designed and built within 7 months focused on workplace innovation, sustainability, and employee wellness. Lenovo, the world’s number one personal computer company and an information and storage technology innovator, selected Perkins+Will to partner in a fast-track corporate office project which included the programming, development of workplace strategies, building assessment, and design of 280,000 square feet of a new headquarters office environment in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The project team was tasked to complete the entire project, design through project close-out and move-in, in just seven months, providing 1600 employees a high quality and innovative work place. Design focused on workplace innovation, sustainability, and worker comfort.

The project team took an immersive design approach to learning about Lenovo’s goals and objectives. This intensive investigation and exploration led to a transformational design program with signature space including; innovation hubs, teaming rooms, multi-media conference spaces, and work stations in an open office space filled with natural light and promoting health, wellness, sustainability.
